Year in Review of Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas

ATLANTA

By Michael Scott

The city that founded Coca-Cola saw many different attempts to bring organized crime to the city. All in all, there were believed to have been nine different people who attempted to take the reigns of the city over the past year. Though unrelated to anything that happened afterwards, the death of Atlanta’s first leader of the year set the tone of the city for the year.

Atlanta started the year with the death of Peggy Bundy, leader of the modest crime syndicate in the city. The death was believed to be that of a suicide. Her death caused the family to split apart. Much of the family followed in the footsteps of Made Man at the time, John Henry, who took control of Peggy’s headquarters after her death and sought a new home with Billy Bad Ass in Chicago. The rest of the family joined the Black Bottom Crew in Detroit or stayed in Atlanta while plans for a new leader were being formed.

Mr. Carter soon took control of Atlanta and housed the remaining members of Peggy’s old family in the hopes to rebuild the city. His reign as the leader of the Liberals would last long enough for the Godfather to see fit that he be promoted to the rank of Capo but his reign was cut short with his death. It is believed that he promoted some people to ranks he shouldn’t have and that got him in to some trouble.

A Made Man known as Circle of Death took over Mr. Carter’s headquarters after his death. He kept going where Mr. Carter left off and built Atlanta into a modest sized family. To bystanders, things were looking fine in Atlanta until one day, tragedy struck. A member of Circle of Death’s own family attempted a coup and in the process succeeded in killing Circle of Death. That disloyal member also found himself lying in a pool of his own blood once word got out of his deed.

With Circle of Death’s passing, Salem became leader of the Atlanta crime syndicate. Atlanta suffered too many losses with losing three leaders so the family was in decline once Salem took over. Salem’s command of Atlanta would be short lived though as the crime syndicate from Las Vegas known as Black Mafia Vegas killed the leader putting an end to organized crime in Atlanta.

After weeks without any crime organization operating in Atlanta, a man known as Tony Pantella bought a safe house there. He declared to the people of Atlanta that he was setting up a crime organization that was to be known as the Regiment. This small up and coming family was often seen out in the streets speaking to people to influence things the way it saw fit. Things seemed to be going smoothly in the warm city of Atlanta until one night, everything came crashing down. A Made Man known as Leon from Black Mafia Vegas loaded up his guns, hired some bodyguards, and proceeded to wipe out the entire family. This man would soon be killed by the Gods when it was found out he cloned himself. Once again, Atlanta was free of organized crime.

After only a few weeks, a new crime family set up in the city. Willy Wonka dropped his poetry book and rejoined the life of crime to attempt to bring organized crime to what had been a bleak city so far in the year. The move was easy for Willy as he had been living in the nearby city of Miami. Following in the trend set in the city for the year, Willy built a modest sized family in Atlanta. Trouble soon found its way to Willy’s safe house which didn’t involve falsified golden tickets. Willy soon died at the hands of La Stidda Mafia leader, Rocket, over what is believed to have been a dispute over murders of La Stidda Mafia members. Aaliyah, a Made Woman under Willy took over control of Willy’s old headquarters but soon abandoned it to join Bartolomeo in Chicago. This left Atlanta without an organized crime presence for months.

Late in the summer saw a revival of a crime syndicate in Atlanta. CC purchased a safe house in Atlanta and declared that he was the new leader of the city under the authorization of his former boss, Bobby Blackout, in New York. CC left his mark on the city by issuing a rule in the city informing members of crime families from other cities that no thug, hoodlum or citizen would be harmed without reason in his city. Frankie Russo, a Made Man from Detroit then attempted to kidnap a hoodlum in mid September. This broke the rule in the city as the reason given for the offense was deemed unacceptable. An agreement was believed to have been reached between parties from Detroit and Atlanta to remedy this offense but upon hearing about the incident and the agreement, CC felt it was unacceptable and proceeded kill Frankie Russo. This sparked anger from members of the Detroit family as CC proceeded with the kill without informing Dino Zoff, Boss of Detroit, about his intentions. CC saw his current predicament as a good way to act on an unsettled rivalry with Don Dayton Fall, leader of Miami. CC opened up firing and after bodyguards on both sides died, Dayton Fall left Miami to head to Dallas. Luck was not on CC’s side as Joey Panama, Capo from Miami, shot and killed the Atlanta Boss. The remaining family survived roughly a week longer under the leadership of Nadia Lucciano until they were taken out from various members of the Detroit family likely as retaliation for losing Frankie Russo.

With Muppets Construction Inc. still the largest family in the country, another former member from the family received authorization from Don Blackout to lead Atlanta. Orangebud bought a safe house and ~Who-Err~ (By Trade) became the latest crime syndicate. As with all the other criminal organizations that had operated in Atlanta over the past year, Orangebud built up a modest sized family. On October 29th, his family succumbed to the bad luck that had struck all the previous Atlanta families over the year. Chicago and Las Vegas joined forces to try and take out Muppets Construction Inc. and its offspring families. Orangebud was the first leader to fall that day at the hands of Haze, a Made Man from Chicago. With Boss Orangebud’s death and the subsequent deaths of the remaining members of the family, Atlanta yet again was without a presence from the mob.

The next crime family to operate in Atlanta was the ATLiens. Lead by Notorious BIG who came from the Freemasons of Chicago, he implemented a rule in his city that thugs and hoodlums would be safe from harm without cause. He would also try to make his mark on the city by joining the trend from other cities and try to clean up the business district. The ATLiens time was cut short early into what it hoped would be a long and prosperous reign in Atlanta. Rones, a Capo from Las Vegas killed a hoodlum who was supposed to be protected in Dallas and afterwards sought the Police Captain so he could pose as an ordinary citizen. He went to the same city as the ATLiens leader and fired shots when he knew Notorious BIG would not be able to fire back. When Notorious BIG could finally recognize him as a criminal standing amongst citizens, it was too late and the Atlanta leader died. Little is known of why Notorious BIG was targeted other than rumours that the rogue agent was tired of life and apparently wanted to go out doing what he did best. Atlanta ended the year with no organized crime presence operating in the city.

CHICAGO

By Ryan Howard

The city that often puts its hopes and dreams into the Cubs winning the World Series and always comes up short saw two criminal organizations run the city over the past year with four leaders, each making the city their own. The year started without a presence of organized crime but that would only last a short while as Chicago would soon be the host city to a powerful criminal organization.

The Chicago Outfit was formed shortly before the death of Peggy Bundy in Atlanta when Billy Bad Ass bought himself a safe house in the city leaving Detroit in the process. Billy Bad Ass brought along many supporters and soon had a strong family which focused around the guns of Billy and the core group of high rankers. Not taking long to establish himself as a powerful leader, Billy Bad Ass soon had a conflict with Mr. 1105 which saw the figurehead of New York killed. The Chicago Outfit did not stop with New York and soon turned their attention to the Black Bottom Crew.

After the leader of the Las Vegas chapter of the Black Bottom Crew unsuccessfully flew to Chicago to try and kill Billy Bad Ass, the Chicago Outfit decimated the rival criminal organization. Every section of the Black Bottom Crew was eliminated one by one until a peace agreement was reached between Sammy Gravano and Billy Bad Ass. The Chicago Outfit then looked to expand with Rocket taking over Los Angeles along with Freakin Pizza and John Henry taking over Miami to have a mob presence from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Things were smooth sailing for the alliance of mob families until a dispute broke out with the leader of Dallas. Dallas members were being murdered while Goliath was not around which sparked anger out of him. Boss Billy Bad Ass and Goliath met in the same city and the two exchanged gunshots until Goliath killed the man who was believed to be most powerful man in the country. This murder put an end to the reign of Billy Bad Ass that saw him establish a dominant criminal organization across the country.

Bartolomeo took over as the leader of the crime syndicate in Chicago. He decided to make the city his own by changing the name or the organization to the Bucktown Boys. The transition went smoothly for the Bucktown Boys as the offspring of fallen Mafioso from other families starting joining the crime family in Chicago. The family soon became one of the larger families in the country but with the extra members came the downfall of the up and coming family from Chicago.

It is believed that three members of the Bucktown Boys had been holding a grudge against La Stidda Mafia. Those three members lead by Reggie finally acted on their feelings and went to Los Angeles and started killing members of the family. La Stidda Mafia managed to take the group out after suffering minimal losses. With leaders Rocket and Bartolomeo not around, the situation escalated and soon La Stidda Mafia went on the offensive eliminating most of the family from Chicago. When Bartolomeo was finally told about the situation, the only thing left for the Consigliere to do was to try and avenge the fallen members of his family but his effort proved unsuccessful as an unknown member from Los Angeles delivered the fatal shot that ended Bartolomeo’s life. With Bartolomeo’s death, there was officially no mob presence operating in Chicago for the first time in months.

With a Commission in place, the Pharmacist was the next person to take on the role of leader of Chicago. With many large families in place during his reign, the Pharmacist was able to build Chicago into a modest sized family. Coming from New York, he had support from the largest family in the country. Nothing lasts forever though and the Pharmacist would soon be dealing with a problem with a Detroit Capo. After killing Detroit’s Amelie Cerrano as she walked down Inactive Avenue, Angelo Cerrano from the Detroit crime family became incensed and proceeded to kill the Capo and his right hand woman, Sahah. After the leaders of the Chicago family were killed, Aureliano took over the safe house.

The new leader of Chicago, Aureliano, decided to put his stamp on the city by renaming the criminal organization to the Freemasons. Aureliano seemed to gain more support as offspring from fallen families on the West Coast and Atlanta joined his family. The Freemasons quietly built a strong nucleus while Las Vegas regained a mob presence from the Kempeitai forming. When news surfaced that Muppets Construction Inc. was planning on taking out the Kempeitai, Aureliano formed an alliance with Ronin and the two families proceeded to eliminate the families in New York, Atlanta and Dallas.

This accomplishment solidified the Freemasons as one of the two strongest families in the country. Aureliano has since done enough fine work for the Godfather to see fit that he be promoted to Don. Since the triumph, the Freemasons have attempted expansions to Atlanta, Detroit, and New York with all three efforts failing to produce lasting families. An attempt to revive a Commission that had recently failed was attempted by the Chicago leader but after realizing such an attempt would not be feasible, the Commission was disbanded. Aureliano along with Ronin has since declared Dallas be an open city for thugs and hoodlums to attempt to go through the ranks as a Street Boss if people so wish. At years end, the Freemasons appear to be well positioned for a long and prosperous future as Don Aureliano works his way to join Ronin as a Godfather.

DALLAS

By Pam Beesly

Needles Kane was the first Mafioso of the year to set up a criminal organization in Dallas. Coming from Chicago, Needles Kane had a short reign in Dallas. Still very much involved with the Chicago Outfit, he met in the same city as Miami leader Thrush and took him out. His reign would end when it is believed Black Bottom Crew leader, Pagan, got herself locked up and shanked Needles Kane to death. While the Chicago Outfit would go on to flourish, Needles Kane and his Dallas family were a casualty in the war between the Black Bottom Crew and the Chicago Outfit.

The next presence of organized crime in Dallas came in the form of Prodigious Petroleum Inc. Goliath quickly established himself as a formidable leader gaining support to develop a moderately sized family. His leadership did not go unnoticed as he soon was promoted to Capo by the Godfather. Tensions started to grow between the Chicago Outfit alliance and Prodigious Petroleum Inc. as members of the Dallas family were starting to be killed. When no peace arrangement could be met between the two families, Goliath and Billy Bad Ass found each other in the same city and opened fire. Goliath came out of the duel as the only one standing but this caused Rocket from Los Angeles to take action.

Catching the first train ride to Dallas that he could, Rocket found Goliath in the city and the two leaders fired their guns at one another. Bodyguards working for each leader were dropping like flies until a cease fire was called to work out an agreement. Goliath went to New York to work on the deal over the phone. No peace agreement could be reached however and more Dallas members died so Goliath shot people in New York he recognized to be connected with Los Angeles. This sparked Rocket to fly to New York to finish the fight that had started earlier in Dallas. Goliath was unable to defeat both Bosses and Rocket soon killed the Dallas Capo ending Prodigious Petroleum Inc.’s operation in Dallas.

Notorious BIG was the next Mafioso to be given authorization to start a family in Dallas. Coming from the Everglade Trust, Notorious BIG started Fair Park Financial and the family grew into a modest sized family. Fair Park Financial was operating in Dallas without conflict until Black Mafia Vegas and La Stidda Mafia went to war. Watching two families fall while Black Mafia Vegas were slowly picked off, Notorious BIG decided to take on two of the biggest hitters of La Stidda Mafia’s hit squad: Boss Devon Debonair and Consigliere Carmine Sanito. Gunfire erupted in the streets with numerous bodyguards dying. It is believed Notorious BIG almost killed Carmine but Carmine outlasted the Dallas Boss and ended his life.

With Boss Notorious BIG’s death, Layla took over control as leader of Dallas. One of the first things Layla did as leader was announce that Dallas was now its own family and not an extension of the Everglade Trust. This essentially would mean that Dallas would have to fight its own battles and would not have backup from Miami. Overall, the Dallas family was doing well except for an internal conflict that was brewing. While the family was growing as a whole, those near the top of the family structure were unable to receive promotions until the Godather promoted Layla and this caused the conflict. Ralphie, a Made Man within the family is believed to have made a comment about how slow the Godfather was at promoting Layla which upset the leader of Dallas. Tensions continued to grow until Ralphie turned to his guns to resolve the dispute. Ralphie went to Dallas and proceeded to eliminate the core of the Dallas family until Layla was able to take the disgruntled former family member out. This was the start of the end for Capo Layla as Bartolomeo soon took her out which removed organized crime from Dallas.

The next presence of organized crime in Dallas came in the form of an expansion project from La Stidda Mafia. ThHitter was given authorization to set up a family in the city. His reign would be short however as it is believed he requested someone end his life as he could not take on his role anymore and retiring was not an option.

Muppets Construction Inc. soon expanded its operations to Dallas. FCUK bought a safe house in the city and started building up his family. Much like his predecessors over the year, FCUK’s family was a moderately sized. FCUK had done well in Dallas working hard enough for the Godfather to promote him to Boss. Much like his allies operating in New York and Atlanta, the Dallas family’s downfall was soon to occur. The Freemasons and the Kempeitai had already taken out the Atlanta Boss and had set their sights on FCUK next as he was seen on the streets. Dark Ninja of the Freemasons is believed to have killed the Dallas Boss putting an end to the Dallas family.

With no presence from the mob in Dallas since FCUK’s reign, Aureliano got word out to all citizens, thugs and hoodlums around the country that Dallas would be a city for people to run a crew as a Street Boss. Some people took part in this competition of sorts as either a Street Boss or part of a Street Boss’s crew. Mr. J Vodka has since been promoted to Made Man before any other Street Boss although it is believed the Godfather was not the one to promote him. It appears Corruption Inc. may be running Dallas heading into the New Year once Mr. J Vodka gets his affairs in order.
