WAR: DETROIT AND CHICAGO GO AT IT ALL GUNS BLAZING!
By Maddie Powers
Las Vegas Capo, Evil Son’s reign in Las Vegas was brought to an abrupt halt this week after he became one of the first casualties in the Detroit versus Chicago war. It appears Evil Son’s fate was sealed the moment he attacked and killed Chicago Earner, Mr Krazytrain in Dallas.
It is reported Mr Krazytrain had gained permission from Evil Son to take out a Goomba in his family after an ammo deal had gone wrong, as long as the shooting did not take place in Las Vegas. Krazytrain was true to his word and the shooting stayed in Dallas. For reasons unknown, Evil Son headed to Dallas and killed Mr Krazytrain while the Goomba was kidnapped by Denver Capo Dante Rosson to avoid his death. Events were soon to spiral out of control as tensions grew between Detroit and Chicago.
Evil Son had gained power in Las Vegas after he rose through the Black Bottom Crew ranks. BBC Boss Pagan, had decided to branch out by setting up four sub crew families, three of which on the West Coast. Evil Son in Las Vegas, Capo Chambers was to set up in Los Angeles, Capo Dante Rosson, who’d previously been a New York Made, was to set up in Denver and Made Man Thrush was to set up in Miami.
Dante Rosson was the first to come under fire as he’d agreed a duel with Chicago Made Man, Gunzi in Detroit. The duel saw bodyguards on both sides suffer fatal and major wounds in a fight that lasted over twenty minutes before eventually Rosson was taken down by Gunzi. Dante Rosson’s right hand man, Made Man Nikolay was installed as new leader of the Denver family gaining instant promotion to Capo from the Godfather. It was a short-lived promotion as Chicago Made Man, Dewmeistro killed him fourteen minutes into his newfound role. The scene was set as it became clear that ‘The Chicago Outfit’ led by Boss BillyBadAss, was at war with Detroit.
Upon returning to Chicago, Gunzi was attacked by Detroit Earner Bugs Moran. Bugs obviously had revenge in mind as news had spread that the BBC was under siege. Gunzi’s bullets once again found their targets however he suffered a fatal whack back that saw both men fall to the ground. Both men died at the scene.
Evil Son was the next to take the fight to Chicago as he decided that the time for talk was over and headed straight for Chicago’s leader BillyBadAss. It’s reported that Billy had been in talks with Pagan over the night’s events and a ceasefire had been agreed. Evil Son opened fire on Billy as soon as he touched down in Chicago. Billy wasted no time in sealing Evil’s fate, returning fire and wounding Evil. The fight was short lived as Evil Son fell to Billy’s smoking pistol in the early hours of the morning.
The fighting was not over yet as full scale war was about to erupt between the two sides. Miami was the next city to see it’s leader fall as only hours later Made Man Thrush, was shot and killed while leaving his family headquarters by former Chicago Made Man Needles Kane. Needles had branched out himself from Chicago, setting up his own small outfit in Dallas known as ‘Il Niente Artisti’ although it’s led to be believed that he was still deeply involved in the Chicago set-up. Pagan wasted no time in airing her views on the murder as she quickly gathered a small group of assassins and left Detroit to do battle with Needles Kane.
Needles was to die later in the evening in Los Angeles jail as an unknown assailant shanked him while he slept in his jail cell. Pagan who had been seen leaving the Los Angeles jail yard only moments before Kane’s death, is thought to have ordered the hit.
Pagan was soon to come under fire herself the very next evening, as Atlanta was the next city to feel the full force of the war. Pagan had been dining in one of her favourite Atlanta restaurants when Chicago Capo Mrs Brooks arrived in the city. A moonlight duel was to ensue between the two that saw a mass of bodyguards laying their lives down on the streets of Atlanta. Both sides are said to have fought courageously before finally Mrs Brooks’s bullets found their target and Pagan’s lifeless body fell on to the cold blood splattered sidewalk.
The next morning brought more violence as Los Angeles Capo Chambers, armed up to take the fight to Chicago. Chambers headed to Atlanta to duel with Chicago Made Man Dewmeistro. Bullets ripped through the Atlanta streets as a shootout took place between the two men. Both men suffered minor wounds until finally Capo Chambers hit Dewmeistro with a bullet through the heart. Dewmeistro died instantly although the victory was short lived as Chicago Made Anthony Macaluso arrived at the scene and quickly dispatched of Chambers within minutes of Dewmeistro’s death.
Capo Mrs Brooks was the next target for the remaining BBC members for the murder of Boss Pagan. BBC Capo Saladin, enraged by the spate of deaths, saw no other option than to travel to Chicago and hit back. Another duel took place but this time on the streets of Chicago. Mrs Brooks did not find the same success that she’d had against Pagan in Atlanta and this time it was her body that fell to the sidewalk. Saladin did not stop with the death of Mrs Brooks, he returned to Los Angeles where he found Made Man Anthony Macaluso coming out of one of the local speakeasies. It is unclear what happened between the two men but Anthony Macaluso’s body was in the morgue the following morning.
Chicago Boss BillyBadAss is reported to have boarded the next plane to Los Angeles to take care of ‘business’ and the assassin Saladin. Saladin, famed for his mammoth girth, was no match for the Chicago Boss. Billy is said to have stood over the wounded Saladin before calmly putting a bullet squarely between his enemy’s eyes.
The Black Bottom Crew, seriously low on numbers, is currently in the hands of Capo Sammy Gravano. It is not known if the war has been brought to end or an agreement has been reached as no statement has been forth coming but one thing is for sure, a lot of brave Mafioso have laid their lives down thus far with Chicago seemingly coming out on top. More news as and when we get it.
BATTLEGROUND DETROIT: NEW YORK AND CHICAGO CLASH
By Morrissey
The war between Detroit and Chicago took another dramatic twist this evening with the murder of New York Capo and ‘Vicolo Nero’ front man, Don Bruinsma. It appears that many of Don Bruinsma’s members had been randomly attacking Chicago members since the beginning of last week with Chicago Boss BillyBadAss, making it clear that this behaviour would not be tolerated.
BillyBadAss and Don Bruinsma came face to face this afternoon on the rainy streets of Detroit. Billy wasted no time in shifting his wet coat to one side to reveal his cold steel pistol, making his intentions clear to Don Bruinsma. A duel was imminent.
Both men were encircled by an array of bodyguards as the rainfall increased limiting vision and causing confusion and panic among the Detroit public. One onlooker reported that BillyBadAss was first to draw his pistol and fire a shot bound for Don Bruinsma. The bullet tore through the flesh of one of Don’s faithful bodyguards, sending him crashing into a puddle of rainwater. Billy’s trigger finger was fast and he managed to get another shot off before Don Bruinsma could regain his senses. The shot was a wound on another of Don’s bodyguards before he replied in kind, wounding one of Billy’s faithful protectors. Billy’s next shot was a significant wound on Bruinsma as both parties of men braced themselves for a full-scale shootout.
A flurry of bullets from both sends whizzed past trashcans and parked vehicles as bodyguards from both sides suffered wounds. Billy lost a bodyguard as Bruinsma’s bullets found their target, he replied with another shot as Bruinsma lost another bodyguard.
The writing was on the wall for Don Bruinsma as Billy let another fireball of a bullet go, this time suffering a nearly fatal wound. He was not finished yet though as he let loose one last shot killing another of Billy’s bodyguards. The Chicago Boss let rip with one last shot to seal Don Bruinsma’s fate.
As Don Bruinsma fell onto the wet sidewalk, Billy stood over the body, raindrops dripping from the tip of his nose, he reached down and picked up a bag that Bruinsma had by his side, thought to contain several guns. Victory was Billy’s. New York is said to be mourning the loss of its leader this evening.
MORRISSEY’S AFTERTHOUGHT
The Black Bottom Crew of Detroit seems to have seriously weakened themselves by trying to branch out into too many cities. Some people might see trying to take four cities at once and still controlling your actual home city as a tad greedy.
Maybe Pagan thought that Detroit was over populated and the time was right to expand. Maybe she thought that by installing several Sub Crew families throughout the community that she would of course be earning more in the way of tributes, charging each of the Sub Crews a fixed weekly rate. All it seems to have created is more problems. Certain Sub Crew leaders seem to have let the power go to their head, ignoring orders and trying to do things their own way. In my opinion it caused so much confusion throughout the community that war was inevitable, a war of mammoth proportions, that has seen severe casualties on all sides. My question is, does anyone actually ever want peace? Can crime families flourish with peace?
Peace and Love,
Morrissey
