MUGGING MILLIONS: Has the depression hit the whole nation.

We at the standard have recently managed to arrange a meeting with federal government and the newly formed Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding their actions and intentions on the mounting problems facing the great people of the United States.

We can firstly confirm the joint statement release from the Government and FBI.

The Statement read "Regarding the rising mugging toll reported in our community nationwide we have set up an emergency response team to work directly with the local agencies to combat the problem."

In a shock move yesterday a White house spokesman, Ms Jane William issued an announcement that has seen debate and controversy raging since she spoke out. The announcement clarified the Government are hoping that due to the emergency and that the banks having permission to still open for business, but not to the public or more specifically to complete the paperwork for all outstanding applications, may help the situation when the emergency ends and that talks with local police agencies were underway to try and resolve further differences to enable a closer working relationship in the future.

Ms Jane Williams also spoke to the paper to regarding her statement and concurred that this is the governments hope to reduce mugging by at least 50% within the first week, however if there unable to resolve the issue further emergency power and possibly more state of emergency could be called. Ms William agreed with us when asked on if she believed the problems were connected to the great depression. Only time will tell.

I for one hope with the effects from the government directly and the people of this great nation we can pull ourselves back from the brink soon

THE WHITE HOUSE:- National wide State of Emergency

Today the President of the United States has declared a general state of emergency, Marshall law has been introduced and the army stand ready to move into stage two on the president’s order. A curfew has not been called upon at this moment however all transport systems have ground to a halt.

Well at this newspaper we believe in reporting the news and investigating where possible to bring you a neutral view, we look at the Who, What, When, Where, Why process and compile it together in a news story for you.

The Who: The Federal Government and the White house, have called this emergency

When: - Until further notice

Where: Nationwide, including all docks, airports and borders

Why? - There lies the question

The state of emergency has been put into place as a last resort to prevent the country falling into mount down and to enable to government to put into place steps to prevent it happening again.

We managed to speak to a junior press officer at the white house earlier today regarding this matter and why they felt this had to happen to this once great nation.

He release a short statement to the paper which reads

"Today we made a short theft to the national of the power we have to closed down the streets as and when we please, we will not accept such small minded behaviour from the people of this nation and we will make sure we keep out power and respect"

"We have release paperwork to cancel the state of emergency and we do not wish to go into this at this time"

We Pressed Mr Brown for some more information but where ask to leave by the secret service, We hope to bring you more information soon, however its very clear that our national wide problems are being taken very seriously….

ORGANIZED CRIME: - No longer underground

With a mass influx of Italian immigrants over the last few weeks pouring into every dockside and airport though the county, it's no secret to us at the press that organized crime in on the increase.

Rumors are spreading like wildfire amongst all our press office nationwide that Italians are taken over the cities with business and new street bosses are appearing all over our cities, some reports say there could be as many as three or four new bosses per city. These are unorganized families, who are known to be trying to impress some of the recently retired godfathers we already know about in our community's.

"The situation is becoming out of control and good old fashioned American people should in fact be worried and stay in home unless they have to go outside wherever possible.” Police Chief Marco Brown of the Chicago police department when asked about the rise of these gangs in our community’s. "Petty Crimes are one thing, but as soon as the crime in our cities gets organized, all hell breaks loose. So far we have already seen an increase in muggings, one of which lead to the murder of an off duty sergeant just this week, We at the PD don't take kindly to so called cop killers and we will bring them to justice.”

"We will stop them before they become out of control, With Arms deals down very alley in our cities we can not take this lightly"

"It is suspected that various known Villains congregate in bars and other social clubs, which act as fronts for their drug trafficking and headquarters. It is advised to stay away from suspicious privately owned bars to avoid conflict, call the police and let us do our job, the public's safety is our first priority always and this shall not change said Senior police chief Marco."
