VEGAS CROWNS DON VALENTINE
Monday 9th July saw an historic moment for La Cosa Nostra, as Vegas crime lord Mr. Valentine was honoured by a promotion from his Consigliere position, to the esteemed rank of Don.
Mr. Valentine, leader of the Criminals Under Ninja Training crime family, follows in the hallowed footsteps of Don Puck, the former Dallas kingpin, who was until now the first and only man to be promoted to the rank of Don.
The promotion serves as great reward to Mr. Valentine and his family, who have controlled the streets of Las Vegas since the death of legendary leader Ronin. Mr. Valentine had risen sharply to prominence since the war between his family and the Chicago based Clientele crew, led by Capo Moustachio. Valentine now presides over one of the most highly ranked families in mob history, especially since it is understood that his first act as Don was to appoint a new Consigliere, in the shape of Cherry, the Vegas based Diva and editor of The Tribune’s rival publication Nouva Donna.
The Tribune, not surprisingly, was able to catch up with Mr. Valentine for a few words on this event.
“This has of course been a long and hard battle for me, one which, to be honest, seemed like it may never come. The promotion is a special one, mostly because of the calibre of leader it puts me alongside. Those who worked for Don Puck have never been heard to speak badly of him, and I greatly admire that, and am proud to have attained a rank equal to his.
I would like to thank each and every member of my family for the amazing work that they have put into this. I could not have foreseen that they as a group would have been as brilliant as they have been over the last few months. I must also thank my dear friends in Los Angeles, LaMadrina especially, for their friendship and support. Lastly, a big thank you to the men and women from all over the nation who sent their congratulations, I truly appreciate it.”
It is to the future we must now look. In one of the Mafia’s darkest days, Don Puck was killed only shortly after he got promoted to Don, without getting the chance to fully exert his influence on the Mafia world. The Tribune wondered what Mr. Valentine had in store for his new found rank.
“Well my first duty is always to my family. I have a number of ideas to reward and challenge the people who have worked so hard for me, which will in turn hopefully have a positive influence on the rest of society.
Beyond that, there are a number of issues I would dearly love to tackle, with the co-operation of the rest of the Mafia world. I think that the Streets, the issue of Auth, and the never ending string of Rogues are all significant problems which we could take steps towards improving. Time will tell.”
The Tribune would like to congratulate Mr. Valentine for his promotion, and wish him all the best for the coming weeks and months.
LATEST ROGUE DEATH
Tuesday night saw the latest in an ever growing line of Rogue’s emerge, this time from the Atlanta based Atremo family. A man known only as Death, cleared his rap sheet before being heard brandishing threats to all and sundry on the streets of Chicago. Tribune reports suggest that Death was threatening to kill members of the West Coast Mafia, as well as threatening to coup his own boss Lefty 2 Guns.
Lefty, angered by the mans disloyal actions, was said to have moved to Chicago and opened fire, before Death ran to Vegas. Once in Vegas, Death opened fire on newly promoted Consigliere Cherry. His attacks were met by Cherry, who, having heard only reports from her bodyguards of a loud backfiring noise near by, finally saw Death running down an adjacent alley way and shooting at her. She returned fire, catching the man with a significant wound. A short battle followed, in which 3 of Deaths paid associates lost their lives, before he was thrown into Vegas jail.
This same jail has not held much luck for rogues recently, with New York Made Jack Dolton recently meeting his sticky end at the point of a sharp shank having attacked Vegas boss Mr. Valentine.
It would prove no more fortunate for Death.
He was followed sharply into jail by Cherry, Richard Richard and Sweetie. Without a shank to hand, Sweetie, fresh off her attempted assassination of Mr. Valentine at an LA night spot, went with what she knows best. She smashed a glass on the corner of a wall before diving towards Death. Two stabs later, the man lay dead on the prison floor, a shard of glass protruding from his neck.
Angry words quickly spilled out into Death’s funeral, with his former boss Lefty being openly scathing in his opinions. The Tribune understands that Lefty and Mr. Valentine spoke soon after the incident, reaching an amicable solution which should prevent any further bloodshed.
THE RETURN OF THE CONCEPTS?
This afternoon saw the return of a Concept tagged attacker, as Sandro Attardi made his way to Miami and launched an unprovoked attack on AWDF Capo Bailey.
Attardi had until a few days ago been a member of the Atremo family, where he had attained the rank of Wise Guy. The reasons behind his attack are not known, although he had been seen some hours before hand mugging Atlanta Made Irish Chick of over 250k.
The Tribune understand that he then moved to New York, before he made his fateful journey to Miami. Once there, he opened fire on all AWDF members, hurting many of them including Bailey.
However it was not before long that he was shot down by Miami Made Man Mr. Karnak.
This death came soon after the suicide of former Atremo Wise Guy Industrial Accident.
The death of two former Atremo Wise Guys in such a short space of time will obviously count as a significant blow to the family, although it is thought to be unlikely that any blame for today’s attacks would be laid directly at Atremo’s door.
DIABLO DEAD!
Renowned West Coast artist and Made Man LeDiablo became the latest high profile casualty of the Ammo Man on Monday morning, as he was shot dead just outside his house.
Eye witness reports have informed The Tribune that Diablo, after a night spent partying hard in the Windy City, had informed a few close friends that he was going home to bed, and had indeed made his way home. Once inside he elected to make himself a cup of coffee, but, having realised he had ran out of milk, decided to pop out to the all night store just down the road from his Chicago base, with tragic consequences.
Outside his house he was confronted by the Ammo Man, who soon after shot Diablo dead.
Diablo, taken by surprise, had no time to utter any last words, spreading panic throughout the Vegas crime world. Wary that their Family member may have been murdered, Vegas members flocked to Chicago, and set about looking for the killer. It was some time before LA Boss La Madrina caught up with an eye witness who had seen the whole incident, and the search was over.
The Tribune would like to pass on its condolences to the family of Diablo, a brilliant Mafioso whose death will be sorely felt by all of those on the West Coast.
